RoboCamp

RoboCamp is a week-long program offered across four sessions, running from June through the end of July. The goal of RoboCamp is to introduce robotics to more of Berkeley’s younger students by providing a strong foundation in both mechanical and programming concepts.
Throughout the week, students will work in small groups to learn essential robotics skills, including motors, wiring fundamentals, programming, debugging, and basic strategy. They will apply these skills by creating their own sumo bot as a group.
By the end of the camp, participants will have acquired the knowledge and confidence necessary to build their own robots independently. These skills also serve as excellent preparation for students interested in joining Berkeley High School’s FRC robotics team in the future.
